Toting a bag worth 1 500 and wearing 60 sandals for the past two weeks it didn't take long for Kim Sears to captivate the style savvy spectators at Wimbledon.
Although her boyfriend the freshly crowned champion Andy Murray has a fortune of over 25 million (and that is set to swell considerably thanks to new sponsorship deals) Sears's displays of conspicuous consumption were kept to an absolute minimum.

Taking a leaf out of the Duchess of Cambridge's book the 25 year old artist wore her beloved Aldo wedges repeatedly to five out of seven of Murray's games to be precise recycling them from last year's tournament.
Then there's that Mulberry Willow bag which she used so frequently that the cost per wear made it look like a bit of a bargain. You wouldn't get that sort of thriftiness from football WAG Coleen Rooney who watched Murray beat Djokovich yesterday.

Sears's trips to the high street for bright dresses from Zara (below left) and Ted Baker (below right) to cheer on her beau ensured she stood out from the crowd but not in a flesh bearing lace wearing Victoria Beckham kind of way (see the designer's choice of dress for the final).

Even mere mortals whose partners aren't national sporting heroes can replicate her jewellery choices with a visit to Pandora and 55 in their pocket.

Admittedly she might have rounded off the tournament in pale mint Victoria Beckham dress costing 900 but we'd be surprised if the frock didn't resume a role again next year. And after all her man did win.
Rounding up the rollercoaster fortnight with an elegant Burberry gown for the Champions Dinner a dashing Murray and Sears (below) could give new 'Burberry couple' Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge a serious run for their money.

And then there's that long effortlessly blow dried hair which doesn't look like it needs a new colour applied every six weeks and which women and girls around the country will be trying to replicate.
Watch out Coleen your shopping habit already doesn't look so ace anymore.
