Today is July 11 (7 11) so 7 Eleven stores are giving away free Slurpees.

7 Eleven is celebrating its birthday by handing out a free Slurpee to all customers Thursday.The giveaway which has occurred on July 11 since 2002 gives customers a small 12 ounce Slurpee at any North American location. That's a bigger serving than in previous years when the freebie came in a 7.11 ounce size.
Related Free Slurpees The free Slurpees will be offered until 7 p.m. local time. The birthday celebration also will include an in store dance party with favors and Slurpee branded merchandise for sale.
7 Eleven touts itself as the world's first convenience store opening the first of its more than 10 000 locations in the 1920s.
